Vivo has officially launched its new Vivo Y400 smartphone in Pakistan on Tuesday making it a challenging motion in the budget price segment that gives good specifications, especially for photography enthusiasts and long-lasting battery life, and those who love water.

Vivo states it's built for real life, dirty roads, splashes of water, and hot water jets at 80°C.

Vivo Y400 specifications

Vivo Y400 is rated as IP69 water resistance level, and a decent 6.67-inch AMOLED screen. The IP69 rating means the device can withstand submersion in water for up to 1.5 metres for 30 minutes, and the device even allows usage of the screen when wet with the "wet-hand" feature.

The device also has a 3-star military rating and is SGS tested, and they've confirmed it will maintain performance fluency for the next 50 months of life.

Powering the Vivo Y400 is the Snapdragon 685 with Adreno 610 GPU. The processor won't be the fastest but should be good enough for regular use and fairly casual gaming, and the rear camera is a 50MP Sony IMX852 image sensor, but it also has a 2MP depth image sensor; the front camera is 8MP fixed focus.

The Y400 comes in two colours, Dynamic Green and Pearl White—and ships with Android 15 (Funtouch OS 15). Buyers also get a 1-year warranty, a 15-day replacement, and 6 months of 2GB Zong data.

Vivo Y400 price in Pakistan

The Vivo Y400 comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage priced at Rs64,999, and it is more affordable in its price segment than anything with a 6000mAh BlueVolt battery.
