iPhone SE 4 leaked case hints at major design change

Apple is reportedly working on its fourth generation SE 4 handset which is expected to launch in 2025.

Users have heard numerous rumours and leaks about the design of the iPhone SE 4. Recently, alleged case renders of the upcoming device of iPhone have leaked on the Web.

Moreover, the leaked case hints at a redesigned iPhone SE 4. The renders show a notch on the display for the selfie camera and Face ID sensors. Users can find a cutout for a single-rear camera.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), tipster @MajinBuOfficial posted pictures of an iPhone SE 4 case, suggesting that a large screen and a notch for the selfie camera and Face ID sensors on the display are similar to the iPhone 13.

However, the handset might be the first in the SE series to skip the Touch ID and the home button.

The leaked case shows a single camera on the back having a 48MP sensor with an LED flash and microphone. The camera module approaches the design of the iPhone XR. The volume button is spotted on the left side of the device.

Moreover, there’s a cutout above the volume button, which could accompany the rumoured action button. This action button that replaces the mute button is currently available on the latest handsets iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.

It's expected that the iPhone SE 4 will officially launch sometime in 2025. According to reports, it will feature a 6.1-inch OLED panel. BOE is rumored to be supplying the OLED display of the upcoming iPhone SE 4.

It’s expected to include Apple’s in-house 5G modem chip and support a USB type-C cable for charging. The dimensions are rumored to be 147.7x71.5x7.7mm.
