Multiple internet users in Pakistan have reported slower speeds and disrupted connectivity. The issue has been over 48 hours since the nationwide internet service has been degraded, impacted both uploads and downloads, leaving users frustrated.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Nayatel — one of the biggest ISPs in Pakistan — stated: "Nationwide internet is currently degraded due to fault in one of two upstream providers.

"Our teams are working closely with provider for early restoration. We apologize for inconvenience," added Nayatel.

Users of Nayatel across Pakistan are still facing the same upload speed issues that began over 2 days ago. It should be noted that Nayatel gets it fibre backbone from Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL), which is the main backbone provider for many internet services in Pakistan, so many other PTCL users are also impacted with internet outage in Pakistan.
