Internet services in Pakistan have reportedly been disrupted across entire Pakistan.
The internet failover has come to light because of thousands of users taking the disturbance to their social media accounts and other public platforms.
While it comes on the heels of the Moon sighting in the country, slated to be conducted tonigh (April 09, 2024) which signifies the end of Ramadan, and the start of the next Islamic month.
The internet outage is the latest almost 2 months after it was experienced nationwide in February, when the country was observing general elections that are held every five years in Pakistan.
Since the authorities concerned for the matter have not yet discovered the rootcause of the national internet breakdown, there's nothing in sight as to when the service will be restored. However, as shows in the picture provided below, a total of 120 users had reported the unavailability of internet service by 12:01 pm today, with the number of complaints rising gradually, according to Downdetector — an independent firm that covers website and internet outages globally.
