Kia has upgraded its 2026 model: the Kia Sportage, mid-cycle facelift. The latest facelift includes refreshed headlights, tail lights and body curves along with some interior tweaks and some tech upgrades.
The change in Kia Sportage 2026 that you can easily view is the “opposite united” design language that Kia now uses in their modern cars. The front grille received vertical lines and headlights with some boomerang-like zig-zig design, which resulted in the pretty clean, it’s more polished now and appears more conventionally attractive than the previous model.
On the back of the Kia Sportage 2026, the backlights and bumpers are refined now with an uplifted profile for better off-roading capabilities. However, nothing has changed besides the rims, which have been upgraded to 19” in size, 2” bigger than the previous generation.
Currently, the facelift's mild-hybrid version has 231 HP, a 4-HP gain over the previous model.
Going into more depth, it’s a 1.6-litre turbocharged engine with a 47.7kW motor that works as a mild-hybrid system. However, the PHEV variant uses a 72Kw motor that produces a combined output of 258 HP.
The naturally aspirated version of Kia Sportage 2026 comes with 187 HP power and uses a 2.5-litre NA engine, and all-wheel drive (AWD) is optional across the lineup.
