BYD on Saturday launched its most anticipated two new Electric Vehicles (EVs), Atto 2 and Sealion 7, in Pakistan, as a global leader in the New Energy Vehicle (NEV) sector.
The automotive company said that this latest launch offers two distinct options for the Pakistani market, ranging from a high-performance SUV to a compact urban cruiser.
BYD Sealion 7 features
BYD Sealion 7 is built using company's “Ocean Aesthetics” philosophy, drawing inspiration from maritime elements. Its exterior features the “Ocean X” front styling, creating a sharp X-shaped structure, paired with a sweeping fastback silhouette.
- Design details: The Sealion 7 includes “water drop” LED tail lamps and a highly aerodynamic body designed for efficiency and a premium road presence.
- Architecture: Built on the e-Platform 3.0 Evo, it is engineered for structural integrity and high-speed performance.

BYD said that Atto 2 is a subcompact SUV designed for city driving, which will give an comfort and relaxed driving experience on the roads of Pakistan. It utilises the “Dragon Face” design language, combining a rugged aesthetic with modern urban styling.
- Exterior: The Atto 2 features a sporty profile with short overhangs and “Dragon Eye” LED headlights. A distinctive Möbius Ring full-width taillight spans the rear, serving as a signature design element.
- Platform: Like its larger siblings, it sits on the dedicated e-Platform 3.0, prioritizing cabin space and efficiency in a compact footprint.
BYD Atto 2 price in Pakistan
The Atto 2 is priced at an attractive ex-factory price of Rs7,290,000. These new models also showcase BYD’s Cell-to-Body (CTB) technology, in which the battery is integrated into the vehicle structure to enhance torsional stiffness and safety.
