Leaked Dell and Lenovo laptops hint at Snapdragon X CPU revolution

Dell and Lenovo, the major laptop manufacturers, are about to launch the laptops featuring Snapdragon X CPUs. This can be a big change in the tech industry as both companies have their stable image and provide exceptional products worldwide.

At Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024, a glimpse of AI laptops was showcased that indicated the move toward launching them soon. Dell's forthcoming offerings, including the Inspiron 14 7441 Plus and XPS 13 934, are anticipated to be powered by the Snapdragon X Elite X1E80100 CPU, acclaimed as one of the fastest SKUs to hit the market. With a 12-core count and a maximum frequency of 3.42 GHz, this chip promises an overall exceptional performance.

The Dell Inspiron 14 7441 Plus is expected to launch with the new Windows 11 Preview Build, featuring an "AI revamp" that includes a dedicated explorer and other enhanced features. Additionally, with a base configuration of 16 GB LPDDR5X memory, this laptop adheres to Microsoft's AI PC platform guidelines.

Sporting a slim profile and rounded edges for enhanced portability, the Dell Inspiron series represents a sleek aesthetic coupled with advanced functionality and the inclusion of a dedicated Copilot key adds a unique touch to the user experience.

Whereas, Lenovo's IdeaPad Slim 5 may be launched with Snapdragon Plus CPUs which gives a hint towards its exceptional performance. Although specifications are not disclosed yet, leaked images show that they will come in stylish designs and multiple colours.

Lenovo's plan may also include the ThinkPad T14S and Yoga Slim 7 14 "Snapdragon" Edition, expanding the Snapdragon X CPU-powered laptop collection. Powered by Snapdragon X CPUs, Snapdragon X laptops challenge established players like Intel and AMD in the market. Performance and efficiency are at the forefront of Qualcomm's lineup, setting new standards for AI-enabled computing.
