Good news for students across Pakistan: PM’s Youth Laptop Scheme has been confirmed to begin free laptop distribution drive on October 30, 2025.

The free laptop distribution drive will kick off in Islamabad, paving the way for a nationwide rollout in a bid to empower students across Pakistan.

Announcing the launch through a social media post, the programme wrote, “The wait’s almost over. Get ready for the grand distribution, starting on 30th October, 2025, in Islamabad. Stay tuned as we come to your region next!”

The announcement of the PM's laptop scheme rapidly started making rounds online, as thousands of registered students have been anticipating the next phase of the initiative.

With the PM’s Youth Laptop Scheme, the government is willing to increase digital literacy and expand access to technology for students in higher education all over Pakistan.

By providing laptops, the programme is expected to strengthen digital learning, research opportunities, and innovation among young Pakistanis.

After the Islamabad ceremony, the distribution will move to universities and colleges in other regions. Officials have assured that the complete schedule and regional plan for PM's free laptop scheme will be shared soon.
