Lego has officially announced that Pokémon building sets are coming, but fans will have to wait until 2026 to get them. The company teased the news on its website, confirming that Pokémon will soon be part of its lineup.

Lego shared a teaser on its website, revealing that Pokémon sets are "coming soon." While no specific details about the sets or characters were shared, the teaser image included a glimpse of Pikachu’s tail built with yellow bricks. This marks the first time Lego is officially launching Pokémon sets.

Previously, Pokémon building sets were available through Mattel’s Mega line, which uses Lego-compatible bricks. It is unclear if Lego will have exclusive rights to Pokémon sets or if Mattel will continue making them.

This new Lego Pokémon collection follows the company’s earlier announcement of a buildable Nintendo Game Boy, the console where Pokémon first appeared. That set is expected to launch in October 2025, but no further details have been shared yet.
