LEGO announces the release of new sets for May 2024

LEGO has announced the release of new sets for May 2024, including Star Wars Day and Despicable Me 4 sets, as well as two space-themed sets: NASA Artemis Space Launch System and The Milky Way Galaxy.

The NASA Artemis Space Launch System is a 3601-piece having 3D effect and 16-inches high with a width of 26-inches. It has some features like multistage rocket 2 solid-fuel boosters, rocket support, a mobile launch tower with retractable umbilicals, crew bridge and Orion spacecraft with foldout solar panels model. This can be located inside the rocket or on a separate display stand.

The NASA’s goal about launching this programme is, to develop a lunar economy by collaborating with the private companies and other nations and to establish sustainable presence at the Moon by returning humans there.

The NASA Artemis set was available at a price of $259.99 to the LEGO Insiders on May 14 or 15 at 9pm PT /12am ET and to the general public, it will be available on May 18. The Milky Way Galaxy set, part of the LEGO Art lineup, will also be available on the same dates. Both sets are expected to be popular collector's items.
