Apple on Wednesday refreshed the MacBook Air — its entry-level laptop model — with the company’s 10-core M4 chip, which was initially launched on the iPad Pro. The MacBook Air (2025) is priced at 13-inch and 15-inch Liquid Retina display options and comes with 16GB of RAM, and up to 2TB of SSD storage configuration.
Notably, the newest MacBook from the Cupertino-based tech giant includes support for Apple Intelligence and runs on macOS Sequoia.
MacBook Air (2025) specs (expected)
The Apple MacBook Air features an enlarged 13-inch (2,560x1,664 pixels) and 15-inch (2,880x1,864 pixels) Super Retina screen along with a 500nits of peak brightness.
The company has powered the MacBook Air (2025) with an M4 chip, featuring a 10-core CPU with four performance cores and four efficiency cores. The laptop supports a 16-core Neural Engine and an 8-core GPU.
The MacBook Air (2025) supports up to 24GB of RAM and up to 2TB of SSD storage configuration. It is powered by a quad-speaker setup with Spatial Audio and a three-mic array. For connectivity, it includes Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 and features two Thunderbolt 4/ USB 4 ports, a MagSafe 3 charging port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The latest MacBook Air (2025) features a Touch ID button, and a Force Touch trackpad with support for Force clicks and Multi-Touch gestures, ensuring enhanced privacy and security.
The 13-inch MacBook Air boasts a 52.6Wh lithium-polymer battery with support for 70W fast charging but the standard model runs on a 30W USB Type-C power adapter. The 15-inch version is packed with a slightly enlarged 66.5Wh battery.
Notably, it is claimed to deliver up to 15 hours of web browsing and up to 18 hours of video playback via the Apple TV app.
MacBook Air (2025) pricing and availability in India
The price of MacBook Air (2025) is INR 99,900 for the standard variant with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage version. Meanwhile, the 15-inch version of the MacBook Air (2025) costs INR 1,24,900 for the 16GB+256GB variant.
Users can preorder the latest MacBook Air model and it will go on sale in India from March 12. It will be offered in Midnight, Silver, Sky Blue, and Starlight colours.
