Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass Standard tier

The new Standard plan is available for $14.99/ £10.99 per month, replacing the classic Game Pass for the Console tier.

The new Game Pass Standard plan includes access to the Game Pass library for Xbox and online console multiplayer, but not to the day-one first-party releases or cloud gaming.

However, existing subscribers of Xbox Game Pass for Console will continue to be able to access day-one games, but new subscribers can only pick between Core, Standard, PC, and Ultimate subscriptions.

“Some games coming to Game Pass Ultimate will not be immediately available with Game Pass Standard and may be added to the library at a future date (can be up to 12 months or more and will vary by title),” Microsoft stated, adding that “all these four tiers also provide “member deals and discounts.”

After adding the latest Standard tier, the new Game Pass lineup now includes:

Xbox Game Pass core

It is available for $9.99 per month, with over 25 games, and online console multiplayer.

Xbox Game Pass Standard

It costs $14.99 per month.

PC Game Pass

It is priced at $11.99 per month.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate costs $19.99 per month.

Furthermore, Microsoft has an impressive lineup of game releases for this fall including Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 as major highlights.
