Although executing a business idea successfully has become rare in Pakistan owing to a lack of financial literacy and the right tools to sustain business growth, Mobilink Bank has successfully graduated 13 women-led enterprises from its "Women Inspirational Network (WIN) Incubator Programme", providing them with expertise in all the aforementioned respects.
The News reported that the incubator programme itself proved to be a landmark, on top of which the bank decided to propel some leading startups.
“When a woman rises, she lifts her family and community with her. Through our incubator programme and financial inclusion efforts, we are turning aspirations into achievements and fostering a more inclusive, equitable future. Congratulations to our graduates,” Mobilink Bank President and CEO Haaris Mahmood Chaudhary said.
Of the fortunate 13, Ecobricks was honoured with the Best Startup Award and a Rs1 million prize, whereas Recycle Bin and EcoGrow stood victorious in the Innovation Challenge and were each rewarded Rs500,000.
On the sidelines of commending exceptionally capable women-led startups, these awards also backed them financially, enabling them to boost business growth and success.
"we can’t wait to support the next wave of changemakers," added Chaudhary.
Mobilink Bank also announced the next batch of its WIN incubator programme, paving the foundations of an expanded entrepreneurial ecosystem for women in the country.
