The National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) on Wednesday launched a new digital payment method to help citizens pay the fee easily and more conveniently.
In a step to digitalise the process and reduce the waiting time, Nadra has now integrated fee payments to bank account and mobile wallets.
You can now pay fees simply by scanning the Raast QR code, eliminating the requirement of cash transactions.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Nadra said: “Paying fees at Nadra offices is now easier than ever. Use the Raast QR code provided on your token slip to pay fees directly from your bank account or mobile wallet without any extra charges.”
Earlier, Nadra introduced an appointment booking feature for its centres through its Pak-ID mobile app. Citizens can schedule appointments for the nearest Nadra centre.
Nadra advises citizens to arrive at least 10 minutes before their scheduled appointment time for a quicker process. "The new feature is expected to improve the user experience at Nadra centres"
