With their licence expiry getting closer with each passing day, renowned streaming platform Netflix is set to remove a notable number of widely popular TV shows and movies next month from its enormous library.

Batman movie series to be removed from Netflix

Among the most notable cutoffs, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises remain top-of-the-line.

Coming to what proved box-office hit in the children-centred segment, populars like Alvinnn!!! and the Chipmunks and Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom will also be removed from the vast Netflix library.

All the movies and TV shows Netflix is removing next month

The cancellation will start on 1 June with 100 Days with Tata, Burlesque, Closer, Magic Mike XXL, Cult of Chucky, Den of Thieves, Ted, and Two Weeks Notice, as reported by The Mirror

Other massively famed titles, scheduled to leave the streamer mid-June, include Gran Turismo: Based on a True Story on 11 June, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire on 14 June, and Carol on 17 June.

By the end of June 2025, viewers will also lose access to Father Figures, American Sniper, Brain on Fire, and both seasons of Signs.

The current content purge is not the first time Netflix is bidding farewell to a plethora of beloved movies and TV shows whose expiries emerge on the horizon.

A similar content cancellation was observed in November 2023, when the streaming giant parted ways with fantasy series Shadow and Bone and its spinoff Six of Crows, drawing ire from their ever-growing fanbase.
