The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has conducted Quality of Service (QoS) surveys across 36 major cities in Pakistan for fixed-line broadband services. The major cities, such as Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJ&K) and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) were part of this survey.

The PTA conducted surveys during Q1-Q2 2024 to evaluate Broadband Service Providers' network performance and ensure adherence to quality standards, promoting optimal internet services for consumers.

The PTA QoS survey results indicated that most BSPs comply with essential KPIs, including Network Availability, Network Latency, and Jitter. However, a noteworthy number of BSPs were underperforming in Bandwidth Utilisation, a critical KPI that affects user experience and can impact service quality during peak traffic hours.
