
Pakistan has been said to have launched one of the biggest cyberattacks on India, crippling vital infrastructure in various sectors.
The attack came as tensions between the two nations increased and just hours after Pakistan began a military operation called Bunyān-um-Marsūs.

The cyberattack hit Indian critical digital systems hard, impacting the energy, telecommunications, defence, and government industries seriously, reported several Pakistani media sources.
The magnitude of the breach indicates that it could be among the most sophisticated cyberattacks ever launched in the region.
According to PakistanToday, indicate that 10 SCADA systems within India's power sector were compromised, jeopardising the stability of power supply grids.
Reports further indicate that 1,744 web servers were obliterated, erasing all data stored on them from public and private sectors.
The incident can affect the nation's cybersecurity strategy and response planning for several months.
The attack is said to have spread to Indian Railways, Delhi Gas Discom, and Kashmir Electric Discom, causing fundamental services to be disrupted for millions.
Government portals like UIDAI and CRIAI were defaced, and databases of big companies like BEML, HAL, and even Paytm were reportedly hacked.
Indian defense networks were also not immune to this, as information from the Indian Air Force (IAF) and Border Security Force (BSF) was reportedly compromised.
More than 2,500 surveillance cameras were hacked into, and a video of the BrahMos missile storage facility destruction was made viral on the internet.
