In line with the country's diligent strides towards the attainment of nationwide digitalisation across sectors, Pakistan's first digital insurance platform has been launched by JazzCash, Pakistan’s leading digital wallet, has partnered with EFU Life, a top life and health insurer.
While the digital insurance initiative is believed to change how millions of Pakistanis access insurance, the collaboration will simplify and digitise the entire insurance process, ranging from instant policy subscription to seamless servicing and claims, all in an accessible and user-friendly manner.
The initiative is designed to offer instant policy subscriptions through various digital channels, alongside 24-hour claim settlements.
Customers can engage through multiple platforms, including app, call centre, web, or even WhatsApp, ensuring flexibility and convenience.
Additional features will include health advisory services, wellness benefits, and digital claim tracking, all within affordable plans.
JazzCash President Murtaza Ali highlighted the low insurance penetration in Pakistan, noting that this partnership aims to bridge the gap in access and awareness, providing tailored coverage to millions.
EFU Life CEO Mohammed Ali Ahmed emphasised that this launch is a significant advancement in making insurance accessible.
