Sony has officially announced its lineup for the Tokyo Game Show 2025 (TGS 2025), and it features three games that will create excitement among PlayStation fans. Sony is showcasing Ghost of Yotei, Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, and the previously awarded Astro Bot at this year's show.
For those that may not know, Ghost of Yotei is the highly anticipated sequel to Ghost of Tsushima, which invites players to engage in an open-world samurai tour de force that will feature stealth and swordplay.
Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls is an upcoming fighting game that will feature Marvel superheroes facing off in 1v1 combat.
Lastly, Astro Bot is a platformer that is greatly loved for being imaginative and colourful and will be back at TGS for fans to play it again.
The TGS 2025 will run from September 25 to 28 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. Sony disclosed that Ghost of Yotei and Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls will be playable on the first two days (September 25-26) in the PlayStation booth and only for industry personnel.
Meanwhile, Astro Bot will be available from September 27-28 for the public at Family Game Park.
This announcement means that fans can expect new gameplay reveals, impressions of new experiences, and massive updates about these highly anticipated titles to be forthcoming at TGS.
Ghost of Yotei is set to release soon after the event, on October 2, making this showcase even more significant.
For those who missed the closed beta of Marvel Tokon in early September, TGS might provide a first real look at how the game plays.
Sony isn’t the only big name attending TGS 2025; Capcom will also present major titles like Resident Evil Requiem, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, and Pragmata.
