The Pokémon universe is abuzz with excitement as 2024 heralds a year brimming with promise for both seasoned trainers and eager newcomers. With recent game updates, a minor bug discovery, and enticing hints at what lies ahead, the anticipation for what's in store has reached a fever pitch.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet bug  and its solution

Following the launch of the second DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, trainers quickly stumbled upon a minor bug related to the move Dragon Cheer. The unintended behaviour surfaced when a Pokémon used the move, was switched out, and then returned to battle with a lingering boosted Critical Hit rate.

Thankfully, The Pokémon Company (TPC) swiftly acknowledged the issue and has committed to rectifying it in the upcoming Version 3.0.1 patch update, expected to roll out later this month.

Serebii.net provided a detailed explanation of the bug, stating, "A new issue has been discovered with Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, specifically for the move Dragon Cheer. At present, after using the move if you switch the Pokémon out and the Pokémon comes back into battle, it'll still have the boosted Critical Hit rate, which is unintended behaviour."
