The upcoming update of the globally acclaimed strategic, first-person shooter game, PUBG Mobile, is reported to introduce a new Winter Mode.

Stable version of the new PUBG Mobile 4.1 update is scheduled to be released by mid-October, letting players immerse themselves in snow-covered maps, altered terrains, and new challenges designed by environmental dynamics.

In this update, maps will be draped in snow to create a visually appealing effect on visibility and movement. Similarly, surfaces may become slippery, making it challenging to traverse and control vehicles. While snow-covered roads are expected to allow faster driving, they might also increase the risk of losing control.

During snowfall, visibility will be reduced, prompting players to rely on close-range weapons, thermal scopes, and terrain advantages like high ground. Players should be prepared for avalanches that might block paths or serve as strategic obstacles.

Experts recommend wearing white outfits for camouflage, keeping an eye out for snowmobiles, and engaging in mid to close-range combat until conditions improve.

The beta version of Winter Mode, embodied in PUBG Mobile's latest update, is set to launch today (October 10), with a full release expected by late October or early November. Players should also watch for two premium items: Glacier SCAR-L skins and Mythic Forge outfits.

PUBG Mobile 4.1 update signifies one of the game's most ambitious seasonal experiments, blending stunning visuals with some incredible gameplay changes.
