Samsung will host its Galaxy Unpacked event on July 9, 2025, in Brooklyn, New York, to highlight the company's most recent advancements.
The new devices are anticipated to go on sale two weeks after the event, with pre-orders starting right away.
what to expect from Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2025?
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 will be on display at the event. Both devices are anticipated to bring notable improvements in terms of design, display, and cameras.
Galaxy Z Fold 7, which has a 200MP primary camera and an 8-inch inner and 6.5-inch cover display, is said to be the thinnest Samsung foldable to date. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 will have a 4.1-inch cover display and a 6.9-inch inner display.
Additionally, Samsung is releasing the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, a less expensive Flip model that costs less than $800 and has most of the same specifications as the Flip 6 from the previous year.
Moreover, the Galaxy Watch 8 series—which will have larger batteries, faster charging, and improved health monitoring—will debut.
Both models will use the squircle shape that was first introduced with the Watch Ultra last year, and the Watch 8 Classic will feature a rotating bezel, which was not present in the 2024 lineup.
Despite not yet having an official name, Samsung's Android XR device, codenamed Project Moohan, may appear. "What a pity, it still doesn’t have a name," as some might say.
The Snapdragon XR2 Plus Gen 2 chip from Qualcomm powers this gadget, which has deep integration of Google's Gemini AI and built-in AI intelligence.
There are also rumours of a Galaxy tri-fold smartphone, which may have a huge 9.9 or 10-inch main screen when fully unfolded and an inward-folding mechanism that allows it to fold twice.
With a possible release date of late 2025, this device is unlikely to be unveiled at the summer Galaxy Unpacked event.
