Samsung Electronics has started rolling out the highly-anticipated One UI update for its smart TVs, bringing a fresh interface and exciting features to enhance the viewing experience. This update is part of Samsung's ambitious plan to unify its software experience across all product categories, offering users a seamless ecosystem.

The One user interface (UI) update for Samsung TVs is based on Tizen 8.0, the latest operating system from Samsung. Other features
Daily Board allows users to decorate their screens with beautiful wallpapers and useful widgets, even when the screen is off. ConnecTime enables video calls, messaging, and mobile screen sharing between TV and mobile devices.
Samsung has implemented enhanced data protection measures, requiring Samsung account sign-in. Users should note that certain apps may not be compatible with Tizen 8.0; checking with app providers before upgrading is recommended.
Samsung TV One UI update availability
The One UI update for Samsung TVs has begun rolling out, while the latest One UI update for smartphones, One UI 7 based on Android 15, shall debut with the Galaxy S25 series early next year. A beta build shall reach users by the end of the year.
