
Qualcomm has recently launched the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset, claimed to be an ‘Enhanced version’, now available with significant upgrades in contrast with the Snapdragon 695, which was released back in 2021.
Qualcomm, the company itself has claimed to the Android Authority that the recently introduced Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 is not actually new, but the ‘Enhanced version’ of the predecessor Snapdragon 695, upgrading it with an enhanced CPU, GPU and artificial intelligence (AI) performances.
The company has just released a three-year-old, rehashed version of 2021, stating it as an ‘Enhanced version’, which has baffled the users making them unhappy with the recent release.

Qualcomm seems to have initiated an unofficial hierarchy system within the Snapdragon 6-series. However, the continuity of this system is uncertain, while coming to its name, the interpretation regarding the details of the name is still veiled.
Most significantly, the company lacks transparency while uncovering the details of this chipset, elevating the challenges to comprehend the true extent of enhancements in it over the predecessors.
The launch of the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 has raised concerns about the company’s comprehensive approach to the chipset branding an unofficial performance within the 6-series.
