Spotify, the leading music streaming giant, is going to host the media conglomerate's podcasts as part of its monetisation drive, announced Warner Bros Discovery on Tuesday.
The development was reported by Reuters.
Precisely, Megaphone is an enterprise podcast platform by Spotify which is going to moderate Warner Bros Discovery's podcasts.

The Audience Network of Spotify
The podcasts will be monetised through Spotify’s advertising marketplace named Audience Network which was launched two years back in 2021.
However, the advertisers’ participation at the Audience Network has surprisingly soared over 45pc during the past 12 months.
While addressing a press conference in September this year, David Zaslav, the CEO of Warner Bros Discovery, took the matter under discussion when he talked about merging their services to ensure a better consumer experience.
Following this, Reuters had reported in November that Verizon is considering to offer ad-supported versions of Warner Bros Discovery's Max streaming services and Netflix for about $10 a month combined instead of about $17.
