Street Fighter 6 x Monster Hunter Wilds crossover event announced

Street Fighter 6 players will have numerous options for event with Monster Hunter Wilds, Capcom claims

Capcom has officially announced the important details of the upcoming Street Fighter 6 x Monster Hunter Wilds crossover event, scheduled for September 1.

The company revealed that fans of both series can expect loads of content celebrating Monster Hunter Wilds. Fans of Akuma from Street Fighter 6 had the chance to become the character in Monster Hunter Wilds in a previous collaboration in May. 

Street Fighter 6 x Monster Hunter Wilds crossover event

The free DLC provided Monster Hunter Wilds players a chance to use their fists to take down the powerful monsters. Moreover, Chun-Li and Cammy were available as paid DLC in the Monster Hunter Wilds X Street Fighter 6 crossover.

  • Five new EX colours based on popular Monster Hunter Wilds monsters
  • Battle Hub voting event from September 1 to September 15 to earn weapon accessories, titles, and emotes
  • Free challenger screen effects, sound effects, stickers, and wallpapers
  • Battle Hub themes and photo spots to commemorate the event
  • Monster Hunter-themed Fighting Pass
  • New avatar gear

According to Capcom, Street Fighter 6 players will have numerous options for this event with Monster Hunter Wilds. Players can purchase five EX colours for Blanka, Akuma, Manon, Cammy, and Ken inspired by different monsters from Monster Hunter Wilds.

All players who log in during the collaboration period will get a challenge screen effect, Quest Start sound effect, 10 stickers, and two wallpapers.

On the other hand, players will have the chance to receive avatar gear based around Rathalos through the Fighting Pass if they don’t want to purchase the gear itself, but the exclusive colours will only be available in “The Shop.”
