Just like the tech world observed a significant shift from automation to artificial intelligence (AI), the high-end smartphone space has been bestowed with a new normal of tri-fold phones, with nearly all major smartphone makers having a tri-fold take on their portfolio.
As it stands, a relatively new contender against tech titans like Samsung, which has established itself as a proficient tri-fold manufacturer, Tecno is expected to brandish the prototype of its rumoured tri-fold take at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC 2025).
Causing a stir among tech-savvy netizens, Tecno is said to have lifted the veil off some of the technologies it might showcase during MWC 2025, with AI, a life-like display of every possible human skin tone in photos, and a tri-fold phone prototype taking the biggest share, Android Headlines reported.
The development, involving the disclosure of potential announcements the company plans to make, paints the picture of 2023 when Tecno kicked off a campaign advocating the enhancement of skin tone representation in photos.
As the smartphone giant introduced the Universal Tone technology, it appears that it might have developed upon it in order to improve it exponentially.
It's worth stating that Tecno has been leveraging AI to make sure that images captured from Tecno phones portray the closest visual representation of every skin colour.
