
The Realme 12+ 5G is set to be unveiled in Malaysia on February 29 alongside the Realme 12 Pro+ 5G. Following its Malaysian launch, the smartphone will be introduced to the Indian market on March 6. However, just before its official release, the Realme 12+ 5G has surfaced online, with detailed specifications and other information leaked as the phone is now available for pre-order on a Malaysian retailer website.

According to the listing on the DirectD Malaysian retailer website, the Realme 12+ 5G will come in two colour options, beige and green. Its design resembles that of the recently launched Realme 12 Pro 5G and Realme 12 Pro+ 5G models in India, featuring a faux leather finish on the back panel and a circular camera module.
According to Gadgets360, the listing also reveals that the smartphone will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 5G chipset. It is listed to sport a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with full-HD+ resolution and a 120Hz screen refresh rate. Additionally, the Realme 12+ 5G will offer 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

The device will run on Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0 and pack a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. It measures 163 x 75.5 x 7.9mm and weighs 190g.

The handset will feature a triple-camera setup, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. For selfies, it will have a 16-megapixel front camera.

Meanwhile, the Realme 12+ 5G will launch in India next month. According to the company's announcement, it will be released in India on March 6 at midnight IST. A dedicated landing page on the company's website showcases the rear panel design in a vibrant green colour. Another model, the Realme 12, may also be launched in India, although details about this phone are currently unavailable.
