Telenor Pakistan partners with Huawei to modernise core cloud network

Telenor Pakistan has taken a transformative step by signing a Core Cloud Modernisation agreement with Huawei on Wednesday. 

The signing ceremony was held at the Telenor Pakistan Headquarters, where the senior leadership of both companies was present. 

According to the new agreement, Telenor Pakistan will upgrade its core network and cloud systems by deploying innovative technologies aimed at enhancing performance, automation, and operational resilience.

Telenor Pakistan CTO Awais Vohra said the partnership reflects the company's commitment to delivering better digital experiences. 

"This Core Cloud Modernisation journey is another step in the direction of providing enhanced services to our customers. We continue to modernize and innovate as we move ahead in this fast-evolving digital space," he said.

Huawei Pakistan CEO Sun Xiaofei described the project as a global priority and reaffirmed that the company is committed to supporting it. 

He said Huawei will equip the initiative with its strongest technological expertise to ensure high-quality execution.

Chief Executive Officer of Telenor Pakistan Fridtjof Rusten emphasised timely delivery so that the customers can start enjoying the network's improved benefits in the upcoming years.
