Another month means changes to the catalogue of Xbox Game Pass, and September 2025 is no different. In addition to the big day-one releases like Hollow Knight: Silksong, three fan favourites will be departing soon.
According to Xbox Wire, All You Need is Help, Wargroove 2, and We Love Katamari Reroll+ Royal Reverie will all be leaving the service on September 15, 2025. And for players wanting to keep them forever, they can be purchased at a 20% discount before they are gone.
What’s leaving Xbox Game Pass?
- Wargroove 2: A strategy RPG inspired by the classics, Fire Emblem, and using a rock-paper-scissors combat system. It gained a lot of love for its player freedom, replayability, and very unique art style.
- All You Need is Help: A quirky co-op puzzle game that comes equipped with split-screen. If you enjoy couch co-op, you might want to try it out before it leaves.
- We Love Katamari Reroll+ Royal Reverie: A remaster of the PS2 cult classic sequel that also upgraded the quality of life features to make it happen for the beloved rolling adventure.
Xbox Game Pass in 2025
The value and business model of Game Pass have remained one of gaming’s most debated topics in 2025. On one hand, players have enjoyed day-one releases such as Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Blue Prince, and DOOM: The Dark Ages. On the other hand, critics — including some industry veterans — argue that subscription models may limit innovation in the long run.
