Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Shadows has been under speculations for several months. Numerous rumours have created a buzz, and a recent leak has emerged, revealing spoilers from the game’s official art book.
The leak reportedly included over 200 images from the game’s art book, titled "The Art of Assassin’s Creed", according to a gaming site.
The leaked artbook contains spoilers for in-game content, such as the backstories of characters in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, advanced weaponry, locations, settings, and more.
Additionally, the leak presented concept art for key cities, including Kyoto and Osaka, and introduced notable historical in-game characters, such as Kamiizumi Nobutsuna, Ashikaga Yoshiaki, Lady Nene, and Lady Oichi.
In the meantime, Assassin’s Creed Shadows is now slated for release on March 20, following a second delay.
Last month, Ubisoft officially announced the game's postponement from the original release date of February 14.
This delay provides the development team with additional time to incorporate player feedback received over the past three months, as well as to establish an ideal environment for launch through increased engagement with the expanding Assassin’s Creed community.
In a statement issued at the time, Ubisoft remarked: “Following the strategic and execution reviews initiated by the Executive Committee several months ago, Ubisoft is undertaking decisive steps to reshape the Group to deliver best-in-class player experiences, enhance operational efficiency, and maximize value creation.”
This marks the second delay for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, which was previously scheduled for release on November 15, 2024.
