Vivo unveils Y31 5G and Y31 Pro 5G with large batteries, 5G connectivity

Vivo has introduced two new smartphones, the Y31 5G and the Y31 Pro 5G, offering significant upgrades over the Vivo Y29 with improved performance, display, and battery life.

The latest Vivo Y31 models cater to users seeking enhanced mobile experiences.

Both phones are aimed at consumers on a tight budget who want big batteries and 5G connectivity.

Vivo Y31 5G specs

Vivo Y31 5G has a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 1000 nits with a 6.68-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen.

It comes in Diamond Green, Rose Red, Mocha Brown and Dreamy White.

While the Y31 Pro 5G boasts a 6.72-inch FHD+ display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 1050 nits.

The Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, which has 128GB of storage and 4GB or 6GB of RAM, powers the Y31 5G.

However, the Y31 Pro 5G comes with 128GB or 256GB of storage, 8GB of RAM, and the Dimensity 7300 chipset. Moreover, OriginOS 15 and Android 15 are installed on both phones.

Both phones feature a 50MP primary rear camera; the Y31 Pro 5G has a 2MP depth sensor, while the Y31 5G has a 0.08MP auxiliary sensor. The front camera on both of them is 8MP.

Vivo Y31 5G series prices

The Vivo Y31 5G costs $170 for the 4GB/128GB model and $187 for the 6GB/128GB model.

The Y31 Pro 5G starts at $215 for the 8GB/128GB model, while the 8GB/256GB model costs $238.

Each gadget of the Vivo Y31 5G series has a 6,500 mAh battery that can be charged quickly with 44W.

Even though the Y31 Pro 5G is the more expensive variant, its IP64 ingress protection rating is lower than the Y31 5G's IP68/69 rating.
