Vivo X300 series debuts with powerful chipset, 200MP camera, and sleek design

Vivo has officially announced its latest X300 series in China, featuring two new models, the Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro. The lineup focuses on performance, photography, and sleek design, bringing flagship-grade features at competitive prices.

Both smartphones are powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 processor, designed on a 3nm process for improved speed and energy efficiency. 

Vivo X300 Pro specifications

The Vivo X300 Pro features a larger 6.8-inch LTPO AMOLED display, operates at 120 Hz, comes with HDR10+ certification, and can reach a peak brightness of an impressive 4500 nits. The phone has an IP69 rating and a trendy aluminum alloy frame, along with glass on the front and back of the phone.

The camera setup has a 200MP periscope telephoto lens with 3.7x optical zoom, a 50MP main OIS lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. There is a 50MP front camera that can record video at 4K 60fps. 

The Vivo X300 Pro is equipped with a 6510mAh battery, supporting 90W wired and 40W wireless charging. The phone is priced at CNY 5,299 (approximately Rs211,000) and features 12 GB of RAM alongside 256 GB of storage.

The smaller Vivo X300 features a 6.31-inch LTPO AMOLED display that operates at 120 Hz, utilising the same Dimensity 9500 chipset as the X300 Pro. The camera on the Vivo X300 has a 200MP OIS main lens, but instead of a periscope telephoto lens, it has a 50MP 3x zoom lens.

The X300 is housed by a 6040mAh battery with the same charging speeds and is running on a new iteration of OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. The base price of the phone starts at CNY 4,399 (Rs175,000).

Both smartphones also support Wi-Fi 7, feature ultrasonic fingerprint scanners.
