WhatsApp to launch AI-powered chats tab for smooth user experience

WhatsApp is reportedly developing the latest artificial intelligence (AI)-centric chats tab, which is soon to be available in the upcoming update. The feature is now set to debut on iOS, ensuring a smooth and seamless user experience.

The latest tab is set to replace the existing Communities tab in the bottom navigation bar. However, users will get access to their joined communities and generate the latest ones through the Chats tab, maintaining all core functionalities while emphasising AI-powered conversations. 

With this update, Meta-owned WhatsApp aims to compile all the cutting-edge AI-powered features, simplifying interaction with several AI tools and chatbots. 

The AI-powered chats tab will include both Meta-developed and third-party chatbots, offering a wide spectrum of AI-powered chat experiences. 

This significant move follows the launch of AI Studio, which was previously launched in a few countries, but the latest dedicated tab will offer improved visibility for AI-centric engagement. 

In addition, it will let users explore AI chatbots in several ways. A dedicated screen will let users find AI bots depending on their interests, ensuring to deliver of a personalised and enhanced user experience.
