Apple recently revealed plans for its 35th Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), slated for June 10-14 this year. The conference will kick off with a keynote on June 10 at Apple's Cupertino, California headquarters, followed by a series of online events accessible to developers at no cost.

What can we anticipate at the WWDC 2024 keynote? Historically focusing on software, this year's event may include updates on Apple's AI advancements. According to MacRumors, Apple is expected to unveil a range of new software updates, such as iOS 18, iPadOS 18, tvOS 18, macOS 15, and watchOS 11. Additionally, there's speculation about the introduction of visionOS 2, the latest operating system for the new Apple Vision Pro headset.

Hardware announcements could also be on the agenda. While WWDC is usually more software-focused, last year's event saw a host of new products, including the Vision Pro headset and the 15-inch M2 MacBook Air. An update for the Mac Mini, potentially with an M3 chip, may also be revealed.

Greg Joswiak, Apple's Vice President of Worldwide Marketing, excitedly announced the dates for WWDC24, hinting at something "Absolutely Incredible" in his tweet.

Regarding software, there's buzz around iOS 18. Reports suggest Apple may incorporate Google's Gemini AI into Siri and iPhone apps, hinted at by Joswiak's cryptic capitalization in his tweet. Expected iOS features include more flexibility in app placement on the home screen, RCS support in the Messages app, and various design updates.

The keynote will be broadcast on the Apple Developer app, Apple's website, and YouTube. Additionally, 50 winners of the Swift Student Challenge will be invited to attend the WWDC in person.
