The award-winning science fiction adventure video game 1000xRESIST is coming to Xbox Game Pass on November 4, expanding one of 2024's most praised indie titles to a larger audience.
1000xRESIST is developed by Sunset Visitor and scored an impressive 89 on OpenCritic, where it was praised for its captivating storytelling and cinematic elements.
What to expect from 1000xRESIST?
1000xRESIST is set in a post-apocalyptic world devastated by an alien disease. Players control Iris, a Watcher living underground under the orders of an unknown character called the ALLMOTHER.
As Iris begins to discover things about the world, players are taken through an emotional story with twists and turns, surreal visuals, and deeply human topics that drive interest in the game, making it a popular indie title.
The announcement of 1000xRESIST for Game Pass comes at a very interesting time for the Xbox gaming circle. The company recently got into a controversy when it increased its subscription price, especially for the Game Pass Ultimate tier, which now sits at $30 a month.
Even with the controversy, Microsoft seems to continue to build out its library with popular day-one additions and add more value to subscribers in general.
Alongside 1000xRESIST, Football Manager 26 will join Game Pass on the same day, followed by Whiskerwood on November 6, Winter Burrow on November 12, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 on November 14 as a day-one release.
