Xbox Game Pass is taking away seven games today, April 30, 2025, as part of its usual monthly update. The departing games include some fan favorites such as Sniper Elite 5, EA Sports NHL 23, and Have a Nice Death.
This takes the total number of games taken away in April to 14, which is the same number of titles added to the service this month.
Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass subscription service for console and PC players frequently updates its library every 15 days. It removes and adds games to keep things fresh.
Most of the games in this current batch have been available for close to a year, with the longest-serving one being Sniper Elite 5, which arrived in May 2022.
Xbox Games Pass games
Here’s the list of games leaving Xbox Game Pass today:
- EA Sports NHL 23
- Have a Nice Death
- Kona 2: Brume
- Sniper Elite 5
- The Last Case of Benedict Fox
- Thirsty Suitors
- The Rewinder
Although none of these games are very long, finishing even the shortest one today will be a challenge.
While Xbox Game Pass loses these 7 games, it has added strong titles in April like GTA 5 and Oblivion Remastered. In May, new games like Anno 1800 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 are coming.
