Owing to the ongoing Disney blackout, which has made ESPN, ABC, and other Disney networks inaccessible, YouTube TV is offering subscribers a $20 credit that can be redeemed in their next billing statement.

For over a week, the YouTube TV community has been buzzing with concern about the unavailability of Disney channels.

Citing sources, TechCrunch reported that the $20 YouTube TV credit was confirmed to them by a YouTube spokesperson.

It was also reported that with YouTube TV's $20 credit rolling out, subscribers have started receiving emailed instructions about how to use it, according to YouTube.

Disney’s channels were pulled from YouTube TV on October 31, with the company saying that if it reaches a deal, those channels will be restored within a matter of hours.

The ongoing dispute between YouTube and Disney is said to be revolving around pricing, with YouTube condemning Disney for “refusing to pay fair rates for our channels” and raising the subscription prices.

A similar confrontation had taken place between the two streaming giants in 2022, leading YouTube TV to offer customers a $15 credit after Disney programming was removed for a day.
