A nod to his remarkable contributions, Noman Azhar, the CO of JS Bank-powered Zindigi, has been named one of the “Top 50 CEOs Under 50” at the Commonwealth Business Excellence Awards during the Commonwealth Summit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The awards concerned are bestowed in celebration of organisations and individuals across the Commonwealth for their commitment to excellence, ethics, sustainability, and philanthropy.

Noman has been at the helm of Zindigi—a prominent fintech firm— since its inception in 2021 under the JS Group, guiding the digital banking platform that has rapidly gained popularity among Gen Z and millennials in Pakistan.

Noman's leadership has reportedly been instrumental in developing an in-house technology stack that supports Zindigi’s rapid growth.

With nearly 20 years of experience in financial services under his belt, Noman has also played a key role in public-private partnerships, extending a helping hand to Pakistan's strides towards the digitisation of the economy.

His accolades include “Digital Leader of the Year” at the Pakistan Digital Awards and recognition as one of Pakistan’s Top 25 Fintech Influencers for 2024.

Additionally, he received the ‘Excellence Award’ from His Excellency Arif Alvi, President of Pakistan, for his exceptional contributions to the country’s digital ecosystem.
