Amazon on Thursday released its redesigned game streaming service, 'Luna', with new features to provide an advanced experience for its prime members.
The company said that Amazon Luna includes new beginner-friendly multiplayer games that can be controlled by your phone. The major change to the game streaming service is the addition of 'GameNight', a collection of more than 25 local multiplayer games that are designed "to bring friends and family together in the living room."
In a press release, Amazon said: "GameNight will feature exclusive titles developed by Amazon Game Studios, starting with 'Courtroom Chaos: Starring Snoop Dogg', an AI voice-driven game where players invent absurd characters, spin wild stories, and try to defend their testimonies in front of Judge Snoop Dogg."
Other titles include 'Angry Birds Flock Party, Draw & Guess, The Jackbox Party Pack 9, Ticket to Ride, Exploding Kittens 2, Clue, and Tetris Effect: Connected.
Amazon Luna General Manager Jeff Gattis stated: "GameNight takes even further the idea of easy access that’s core to the new Luna, delivering a collection of incredibly fun and approachable games that absolutely shine when played together with friends and family.
“Anyone with a smartphone can dive right in and have a blast, regardless of their gaming abilities.”
Players who want access to a larger library of games can subscribe to Luna Premium — earlier known as Luna+ — for $9.99 per month. Luna Premium provides you access to titles such as 'EA SPORTS FC 2025', ' Star Wars Jedi: Survivor', and 'Batman: Arkham Knight'.
