As part of significant developments taking place in the realm of technology, Apple has expanded to Europe the access to its diagnostics tool for self-service iPhone, Mac and studio display.

The update lets users complete the software configuration process that pops up following self-service repairs by placing the device in Diagnostics mode and following the prompts on the screen.

Previously available across the US, its European expansion includes 32 countries, with the UK, France, Germany and the Netherlands being among the most notable.

The tool was previously exclusively available to Apple technicians and service providers, now users will be able to bypass these stages, a a more streamlined process users have long sought.

Launched in 2022, the self-service program gives customers access to Apple parts, tools, and manuals to repair select iPhone, Mac, and Studio Display models, allowing for some do-it-yourself repairs.
