Apple's most highly anticipated feature, Apple Intelligence, will now not make it to even iOS 18.1, set for an October release. This feature is expected to accelerate sales for new iPhone 16 models.
However, according to Bloomberg, Apple Intelligence will not be included with iOS and iPadOS 18.0, which comes in September.
Apple Intelligence provides a new, much more personalised experience, complemented by an Image Playground, Genmoji, and tight integration with both Siri and ChatGPT.
These features will give users new, pioneering ways of interacting with devices that will make the experience much more enjoyable and productive.

Reports indicated that a developer beta with some Apple Intelligence features is slated for release as early as this week for iPhone and iPad users. In this beta, developers will have a chance to test the features and send their reviews for improvement before public release.
Further, this delay will give Apple some time to focus on bug fixes and stability, hence making sure that the feature is polished and ready for prime time.
What to expect
The iOS 18.1 beta will most likely house Image Playground and Genmoji, while the new Siri and ChatGPT integration are some of the features to be probably pushed out at a later date, maybe in Spring.
This is quite unprecedented for Apple, which rarely releases developer betas for future versions before the public release of version one.
It's still unknown how Apple is going to treat Apple Intelligence in macOS Sequoia; most likely, we'll witness those features in a macOS Sequoia beta soon.
The developer beta will be available to registered developers and will include a range of features and tools to help them test and integrate Apple Intelligence into their apps.
