Samsung might introduce the Galaxy S24 FE later this year, as per the new leak. Samsung decided to release the Galaxy S23 FE as the successor to the Galaxy S21 FE, skipping one model in between. However, the details regarding the smartphone have emerged, hinting at its launch.

However, it's unclear whether the smartphone will debut during the Galaxy Unpacked event in July alongside the new foldables or in October, aligning with its predecessor's release timeline.

A tipster on X (formerly Twitter) with the username @OreXda shared some key specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE. While details remain limited at this stage, if the leak appears true, there are notable changes to the upcoming handset.

One significant alteration could be the display size, with the leak suggesting a 6.1-inch AMOLED display, potentially making the phone smaller compared to its predecessor, which sports a 6.4-inch screen.

Additionally, the smartphone is rumoured to be powered by the Exynos 2400 SoC. The tipster also mentioned the possibility of a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, “But I think this FE will use only Exynos globally” the tipster mentioned. As such, it is possible that the Indian variant may not feature the Qualcomm processor.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is also expected to come with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and offer two storage variants 128GB and 256GB UFS 3.1. Lastly, the device is speculated to house a 4,500mAh battery, similar to its predecessor, with no details provided yet regarding its cameras, design, or colour options.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE, launched in October 2023, features a 6.4-inch Dynamic full-HD+ AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate. In India, it was equipped with the Exynos 2200 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage.

The smartphone's triple rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 12-megapixel ultrawide shooter, and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera.

For selfies and video calls, there's a 10-megapixel front camera housed within a centre-aligned hole-punch cutout. The device is powered by a 4,500mAh battery with support for 25W wired charging.
