Samsung has been leading the foldable market with its Galaxy foldable, setting a high standard that competitors strive to match. The upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6 is expected to debut earlier than usual this year alongside Galaxy Z Flip if new leaks are accurate.

According to AndroidAuthority, Samsung is planning to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 6 in early July 2024, possibly during the second week. The event is anticipated to be held in the second week of the month, likely on Wednesday. This suggests that the next Galaxy Unpacked event could be held on July 10, 2024.

Another Korean publication suggested that Samsung could launch the Galaxy Z Fold 6 in mid-July, with sales starting three to four weeks earlier than in previous years. There's speculation that the launch event could take place in Paris, France, possibly to take advantage of marketing the event around the 2024 Summer Olympics, which are scheduled for July 26, 2024.

The Korean report indicates that Samsung has urged its core component suppliers to ‘complete quality testing by April’, which is ahead of the previously mentioned June deadline.

Further, the upcoming Galaxy Fold 6 is expected to feature Qualcomm SoC, consistent with past releases. The company's focus seems to be on enhancing hinge technology, thickness, and improving durability rather than introducing revolutionary features like a double foldable or sliding phone.
