Meizu 21 Pro launched: Offering enriched battery life, 16GB RAM, more

Meizu 21 Pro launched in China on Thursday, February 29. The smartphone boasts Qualcomm's latest octa-core chipset and a robust 5,050mAh battery with wireless charging support. It also features a triple rear camera setup equipped with hybrid optical image stabilization (OIS) and electronic image stabilization (EIS). 

This model joins the Meizu 21 lineup, which previously introduced the base Meizu 21 model in November 2023, featuring a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, a 4,800mAh battery, and a 200-megapixel triple rear camera system.

Meizu 21 Pro features a 6.79-inch 2K+ LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offers a peak brightness of 1,250 nits and SGS Low Blue Light eye protection. 

Under the hood, it houses a 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. The device runs on the Android 14-based Flyme 10.5 operating system. 

The device is powered by a 5,050mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W wireless reverse charging. It also offers IP68 dust and splash resistance, as well as Meizu's Titan Glass 2.0 technology for drop resistance.

Connectivity options include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and USB Type-C. The handset measures 164.98mm x 74.42mm x 7.98mm and weighs 214g for the glass body and 208g for the silicone finish.

In terms of camera, the Meizu 21 Pro boasts a 50MP primary sensor with hybrid OIS and EIS, accompanied by a 13MP ultra-wide sensor and a 10MP telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom. For selfies, it features a 32MP AI-backed front camera, which also supports face unlock.

Meizu 21 Pro is available in Glacier Blue, Laurel Green, Meizu White, and Starry Night Black colour options.

According to Gadgets360, the Meizu 21 Pro offers three RAM and storage configurations in China. The pricing starts at CNY 4,999 (approximately INR 57,600) for the 12GB + 256GB variant, while the 16GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB models are priced at CNY 5,399 (approximately INR 62,200) and CNY 5,899 (approximately INR 67,900), respectively. 

Pre-orders for the phone are currently underway, with sales starting from March 2.
