Bungie, an American game developer-based subsidiary of Sony Entertainment, has assured players that, Season of the Wish, Destiny 2’ latest season, will not heavily rely on The Blind Well.

Having made its first-ever and groundbreaking entry into the gaming arena only two days ago, the narrative of the Season of the Wish lets players interact with the ghost of Riven.

While the new season's concept is entertaining, some concerns emerged within its community. With worries that this repetitive content might surpass the season's offerings, the utilisation of the Blind Well in the opening week's feedback dropped fans’ jaws.

Fortunately, reassurance from the end of developers has also emerged. Bungie has clarified that the Blind Well won't be the major element of the Season of the Wish, and players shouldn't worry about its frequent occurrence.

This clarification follows a series of posts from the Destiny 2 Team X (formerly Twitter) account, where they explained that Blind Well integration will be limited in the season, and its inclusion in the first week is justified.

“We’ve heard you that asking players to go back to the Blind Well as part of the first week’s story is a sore spot. One of our goals here was to make sure players knew from the start that there’s increased difficulty and new loot to earn in this activity,” Bungie wrote in a post they shared on X.

It added: “You won’t need to go back every week. Players will only be asked to return to the Blind Well once in Week 6, and it will be an opt-in activity after that for the rest of the Season.”

The post on X underscored that the Seasonal Seal will require a completion of the heroic version of the Blind Well and the Seasonal Challenge would come out every six weeks.

It's great to see the rapid pace of communication from Bungie, especially so quickly. The account covered other issues too, including the announcement that the controversial Starter Pack has stopped being sold, as well as an update about the the Fireteam finder.

Here’s hoping this level of communication keeps up, especially at this speed. Getting an update on several issues less than two days after a season launch is excellent.
