The latest leak surrounding the Call of Duty franchise hints at unexpected developments for the series’ 2027 instalment. While Activision has not officially confirmed details, rumours suggest that the next title could introduce new gameplay modes, maps, and a storyline twist that surprises long-time fans.
As per the rumours, the new Call of Duty in 2027 might aim at the development of cooperative multiplayer features and single-player campaigns.
According to reports, they are testing new AI mechanisms with the potential to boost enemy actions and player engagement in both offline and online platforms. These new innovations are expected to keep the series refreshed while still attracting as many players as possible.
The leak also indicates that Activision could be investigating cross-platform improvements to enable a smoother transition between consoles and PCs.
