Canva, the widely-used online graphic design tool that simplifies creating visuals, confirmed on Tuesday that issues with image uploading on the platform's web version have been resolved.

The inability to upload multimedia files on the platform was brought to light by Canve users earlier in the day, who lodged complaints about two issues causing disruptions when uploading images to Canva, Dawn reported.

Launched in 2012, the online editing and animation facilitator secured a whopping user base of over 170 million by 2024, used for a number of reasons including but not limited to social media content, presentations, videos and much more.

For professionals eager to unlock the magic of exclusive features, Canva also offers paid premium subscriptions on the sidelines of being globally acclaimed as a free tool.

The Canva status page, which keeps watch of performance issues of all kinds across the platform, showed two issues causing trouble for users.

“We are aware of an issue where users are unable to upload images and are currently investigating,” stated an acknowledgement post published on Canvastatus.com at 9:54am (Pakistan time) today.

Over an hour following the issue was reported by users and admitted by the platform, a follow-up post was shared at 11:19am (Pakistan time) on the Canva status page, announcing that the issue affecting image uploads on Canva was resolved.
