Realme GT Neo 6 SE confirmed to launch with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC

While suggesting the launch schedule of its upcoming Realme GT Neo 6 SE in China, the Chinese smartphone maker Realme has started disclosing the core specifications of the device. 

Taking to a Chinese microblogging site called Weibo, the company confirmed that the Realme GT Neo 6 SE will be running on an octa-core Snapdragon 7 series chip from Qualcomm. 

Moreover, the Realme GT Neo 6 SE is expected to debut as a more powerful contender of the lineup as it's powered by the rumoured Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, the same chip that would rein in the entire hood of OnePlus Ace 3V, whose debut in China around the corner.

As per a Chinese tipster, the successor to the Realme GT Neo 5 SE will feature a 1.5K Low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) organic light-emitting diode (OLED) screen, standing at par with those found on flagship smartphones. Meanwhile, it has a capacity of 5,500mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging. 

Last year, company launched the Realme GT Neo 5 SE featuring Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset with triple rear camera setup that included a 64-megapixel rear camera and a 16-megapixel front camera. 

The Realme GT Neo 5 SE featured a display of 6.47-inch 1.5K with a 144Hz refresh rate and operating system (OS) of Android 13 with storage space of 16GB ram and 1TB.

Since Realme is yet to unveil an insightful breakdown of the Realme GT Neo 6 SE, what benchmarks have pulled the cloak off is that the handset will be backed by a Cortex-X4 Prime core clocked at 2.8GHz; four Cortex-A720 'performance' cores clocked at 2.61GHz; and three 'efficiency' cores clocked at 1.9GHz.

The launch of the handset in China and other countries, including India, is yet to be announced by the company.
