If you were planning to subscribe to Disney Plus or Hulu on your iPhone, then unfortunately, you won’t be able to do it anymore, as Disney Plus and Hulu has disabled in-app subscription to Apple Play Store, according to MacRumors.
If any Apple user tries to log in their account through the iOS app, they will receive “Unfortunately, this app doesn’t support in-app signup. Finish setting up your account on the website. Create and manage your account at disneyplus.com/next.” Additionally, Hulu’s iOS app will take you to the official Hulu website whenever you log in without an active subscription.

Disney is likely to bring these changes to prevent the Cupertino based-tech giant from charging a commission of new subscription revenues for Disney Plus and Hulu, but if you are already a subscriber to the streaming services through the iOS app, then you will still be charged through Apple, according to Disney.
Disney is not the only company which has prevented new subscriptions from iOS apps, but Netflix stopped letting users subscribe through its iOS app in 2018 and broke off Apple charging for legacy subscribers at the beginning of this year.
